Think you know about coffee? Take the Ultimate Coffee Tour Experience.

This tour promises to transform your knowledge of the world’s most popular drink, with a voyage through time to the coffee source. The tour heads out from Florence into the beautiful Tuscan hills, where you will be taken on an immersive guided journey through the recently opened Accademia del Caffè Espresso – a cultural centre dedicated to espresso coffee. The museum is housed in the old factory that created the world-famous La Marzocco espresso machine in the 1930s (one of the first companies to do so), referred to as ‘the jawbreaker’ as there was so much pressure that when the baristas lifted the lever, the machine would jump back and break their jaw!

On this tour you’ll learn about the fascinating history and innovation of the company before heading to the picturesque Etrusco Roman hill top village of Fiesole, where you can wander the cobbled streets, buy a traditional Tuscan lunch and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Florence. The last stop of the tour is the revered Caffè Magnelli factory, situated in the Tuscan countryside. A very special place to visit, this is the first time the factory has granted access to the public. This coffee-producing company was established by Cesare di Angiolo Magnelli over 150 years ago and has since been run by five generations of the family. Led by an expert guide, you will see the coffee-making process from bean to cup, hone your barista skills with hands-on experience using original barista machines, learn about small batch coffee and sample a variety of coffee blends. The tour will also delve into the art of coffee pairing where coffee sommeliers pair coffees with different courses.

The tour operates with a maximum of 15 people per tour ensuring an intimate and exclusive experience. The special launch price is 119 euros pp.
