Both restaurants are spearheaded by Boris Buono, food-pioneer and international Chef, whose restaurant credentials include Denmark’s Michelin starred Noma, named the world’s best restaurant. Boris is currently making waves in Ibiza, pushing the boundaries and shaking up the traditional restaurant scenewith his ‘social dining’ concept. The seeds of the first Food Studio were sown in a small apartment in Copenhagen with the aim of bringing together friends and strangers over a shared loved of food. But it’s also about inspiring rural communities to live off the land – showing that beautiful meals can be created through simple food foraged or grown locally. Boris is passionate about working closely with the community around him, from producers, farmers, soil associations to schools, educating mature students and children alike on the benefits of farming and creating with food, showing them how traditional artisanal skills translate in the 21stCentury.
