Its flagship property, 1898 The Post, is housed within Ghent’s former post office – a striking Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance landmark restored by architect Louis Cloguet with multiple spires and a clocktower.
It stands as a compelling example of how historic buildings can be sensitively reimagined for modern travellers. Rooms and Suites are a reminder of the former Post Office with names such as ‘The Stamp’, ‘The Postcard’, ‘The Letter’ and there is a spacious ‘Loft’ suite and even a romantic ‘Tower Room’ with panoramic 360 degree views over the city.
