The Ski Lodge Verbier is a new 36-room boutique hotel in the centre of Verbier, that opens December 2026 with two ideas at its heart: a luxurious spa, and somewhere exciting to be after dark. The state-of-the-art spa has an indoor swimming pool, cold plunge, sauna, hammam and a relaxation area; The Listening Room, the hotel’s bar, is open to guests and locals alike until late, with cocktails and DJs on the weekend.
Most ski hotels are built around the day on the mountain. The Ski Lodge Verbier, has a philosophy about what happens after a day on the slopes: proper recovery, delicious food, good company and comfortable rooms designed for rest, not simply somewhere to sleep. The feel throughout is understated alpine living rather than showy – quiet luxury, not glitz.
The hotel sits in the centre of Verbier, one of the Alps’ original and most enduringly stylish resorts, with 410km of slopes and some of Europe’s best off-piste and freeride terrain on the doorstep. Open through the year the hotel will offer skiing, snowboarding, wellness, recovery and culture in winter, then hiking, mountain biking, golf and paragliding across the mountain’s trails once the lifts close for the summer.
The Ski Lodge has been designed to work quietly with its environment rather than against it. Renewable district heating, integrated photovoltaic panels, underfloor heating, and carefully engineered ventilation systems are all woven discreetly into the experience, allowing comfort, efficiency, and long-term performance to exist without interruption.
Bookings open on September 28, 2026, with the hotel welcoming its first guests in December.
